Learning from your Body
Life is constantly unfolding from one moment to the next. We move through the seasons of life and we may look at the slow progression of aging and losing many blessings of youth.
Although as youth turns into maturity other beneficial things may come to the foreground. Maybe a growing sense of inner wisdom and intuition, or a greater sense of inner calm and balance, and life becomes more meaningful.
No matter what stage of life we’re at, the common thread through life is change. Depending on how we frame it, we can navigate change as source of loss, or, as a source of transformation and growth.
One of the blessings of yoga practice is that it often helps us realize just how much there is to learn about the body, and how much power we have to sustain our health and wellbeing at any stage of life through self care techniques.
